> Choose a number over 100 (START WITH SMALLER NUMBER).
> The last two places will be the square of
the last two digits (keep if any carry) _ _ _ X X.
> The first three places will be the number plus
the last two digits plus any carry: X X X _ _.
here is an Example:
> let the number be 108:
2. Square the last two digits (no carry): 8 × 8 = 64: _ _ _ 64
3. Add the last two digits to the number: 108 + 08= 116:
so 1 1 6 _ _
4. So 108 × 108 = 11664.

Hi Shrenik,
I tried with number 102,
1.With the last two digit I got -> 2X2 = 4
2.Adding 102+02 = 104
3. finally what we have is 1044. But in fact 102X102 = 10404
Please suggest.
when u multi. last two digit it must be 2 digit like if u get 4 than u write 04
ur answer 2x2=04
102+02=104
answer=10404
I tried with 116 = 6 x 6 = 36
116 + 16 = 132
total = 13236 which is incorrect
na na ...the trick is not like this, for eg u tried 116 i.e. 100 + 16 right..
so it goes like this:
16*16= 256 but we need to keep till two places hence 2 carried over..
then 116+16 = 132 +2(carried over) hence ans is 13456
